Untried Polish Challenge - Day 10 (Most Expensive)!

Today's post is super picture heavy so I'll get right to it and give you the shpeal (spelling?) beforehand and get right into it. This is one of the most incredible colors I've ever owned and now definitely one of my favorites. It was kind of a pain in the a** (sorry :p) to photograph, but only because it's so multichrome and so multi-dimensional that I wanted you all to see all the possible colors, unfortunately I don't even think I got all of them. This is Enchanted Polish Kids, A wonderful multichrome that includes; teal, lilac, l. blue, grey, l. plum and pink among others. On top of all of these it's HOLO! Omg I love it! If you want to buy your own or one of her other amazing colors you can  go to The Enchanted Polish website or Llarowe and sign up to receive an email about when they are in stock again. Anyway, enjoy the million picture, yes it's all the same manicure/same polish haha :).

Untried Polish Challenge - Day 9 (Cheapest)!

Hello All!! This is me trying to catch up...sigh. I didn't want to just do a swatch so a picked a couple cheap unused polish and just winged it. Today was a pretty nice day! I went to observe a mobile blood drive compare how it functioned in comparison to your everyday blood bank. The good part was about this was that there wasn't much to see and we ended up being done in about an hour and a half. So then I went and "sold" my own plasma and got a massage. Needless to say it's been a good day; and I still get to grab dinner and hit up Ulta and the mall with a couple friends. WIN!

I felt the need to do a bright, obnoxious color, and luckily one of my cheapest polishes is just that. The bright greenish/yellow color is Essence Lime Up. I'm pretty sure it cost me all about 50 cents at some point. In effort to not just do a swatch, but still stay with the them I grab a dark blue striper I had never used,  an Its So Easy StripeRite (Blue? I don't know, I couldn't find a name), which had been on sale for just over a dollar. I still felt like it needed something so I added the gems. The product is this madness!

Untried Polish Challenge - Day 8 (Newest)!

Hey everyone! I think I'm getting better at this light box thing, I added more lighting on top and it help a lot. I like the quality of the pictures better already. So I finished my first rotation (internship) in microbiology and now will spending the next 3 weeks interning in the blood bank. Just have to get through this busy summer and I'll be done! Done with my BS. Just have to get to September. I'll let you guys know how it goes ;). Here are the nails.

Light Box!

I just bought these colors week, so they're definitely the newest to my collection. I'm such a sucker for grays!  I was at Cosmo Prof with my friend Michaela and found this new lacquer brand called Morgan Taylor. I was  curious so a picked up a few bottles to try and so far I definitely approve. The darker one is Morgan Taylor Power Suit and the lighter is Morgan Taylor Dress Code. They went on very smooth, were opaque in one to two coats, and dried very quickly. I don't even have top coat on in the pictures after about a day of wear and they still look good and shiny. I'm pretty sure I'll be getting some more of these to try, and possibly swatch and review. :)

Untried Polish Challenge - Day 7 (Oldest)!

I'm alive! I just received this new light-box type thing and I' still trying to figure it out. Hope these turned out ok, I hope I can get better at this. My friend who's a photographer said he would help me so I hope to have something more standard soon! But the good news is at least I can take pictures day or night. I think I still like how some things turn out outside, but we'll see if that changes. Enjoy!

Light Box!

This here pretty green matte color is called Zoya Veruschka on top of it for the stripes I painted Zoya Envy. I love how simple and elegant this manicure turned out. I can't believe I've never used these. I have older polish, but these were some of my very first Zoya. I won Envy in a set of 3 at Jo's (From Just Add Polish seen below) very first polish party and then bought Veruschka in my first Zoya order. Wow how my collection has grown since then! LOVE!

Untried Polish Challenge - Day 6 (Cool)!

Well It's finally here! My next mani that is. Admittedly, not necessarily my best, but I was a little short on time. When I thought of cool I instantly thought of something cold. These colors together make me think of icicles and cold weather, I left the white a little sheer so it looks all snowy! Though I am so glad it's finally getting warm. I just got the two main colors at a trip to cosmo prof and couldn't wait to use them! Here you go!
Sunshine!

The blue is Venique Sugar Hi-Heeled with China Glaze Dandy Lyin' Around as the white on top. Finally I free-handed the outline in Butter London Lady Muck. Even though it's not my best I still really like it! These colors are so fun to wear!

Untried Polish Challenge - Day 5 (Warm)!

I am SO sorry everyone! I really hate being behind, but I guess it seems like a trend with me. I will try to catch up ASAP! Life just got really busy, but what else is new.... This manicure was very hard to photograph, I don't think you can see how truly gorgeous these colors are! Here we go!

Outside

Inside

When I thought of warm I instantly thought of reds, oranges, and yellows. The orange I used here is Butter London Jaffa. It's actually slightly lighter than it appears in the pictures; even salmon slightly, but not quite. On top I gradiented (according to my computer that's apparently not a word :p) Hits Ares. This is just an incredible red red holo. It's a little sheer and the bottles are small so I recommend layering it over another red if you're going to wear it by itself. It would be a beautiful addition to anyone's collection.

WOW

Just thought you should see it some more because it's so cool!!

Untried Polish Challenge - Day 4 (Neutral)!

I know it's late so I'll be really brief. I wanted to get this post up today so I could get on track and working on my day 5 post which is  tomorrow. I didn't have time to post early today so here are the nails I did for neutral day.

Outside - Sunlight

For the base here I chose the absolutely beautiful Deborah Lippmann Human Nature. This color was inspired by the HBO series True Blood (which happens to be one of my favorite shows ever!!) I used striping tape one the tips and painted on CND Sophie. CND only makes gel colors know so this lacquer is only available if you order it online from ebay or something similar. I finished with a golden rose sticker just for fun! I think it added a little extra touch to a simple design.

Untried Polish Challenge - Day 3 (Three Colors)!

Hey Everyone. I am soooo sorry I'm late! I had an exam to study for and couldn't get around to doing my nails. Boooo! Also, bad news bears, I chipped a nail pretty bad and now they're all really short :(. Oh well, good thing nails grow back rather quick. Anyway, My friend sent me a pic of a similar manicure using this technique and I thought it was perfect for this challenge!

Inside - Flash

For this mani I used the sandwich technique, but instead of a glitter polish in between I used my dotting tool and other polish colors. I began with OPI My Pointe Exactly (two coats), then made the flowers with OPI Skyfall (red) and OPI Gift Cards for Everyone! (purple). I finished it off with two more coats of My Pointe Exactly; this is such a pretty super sheer gray, I really love it.

I know I'm behind everyone now, but I hope to catch up before the next group post! I hope everyone is having an awesome week finishing up finals and don't forget to check out the other lovely ladies and their amazing posts!
