Untried Polish Challenge - Day 16 (Was a Gift)!

Last Post! Of this challenge at least.... I'm usually not a very big fan of glitters, but I like this one a lot!! That might be because it was a gift from my Best friend Masha from Lost in Lacquer! It's just so pretty! So hard to photograph properly though....

Still Sunlight.... But basically what it really looks like!

This beautiful glitter is Ninja Polish Nebula. I would call it a multichrome glitter, but all it is is a glitter, it has a clear base. The glitter is so dense that, especially in the bottle, it seems like it has a solid color base. I painted it over OPI Road House Blues, but honestly I don't think it really needed it. It pretty much went completely opaque in 2 coats. It might have been good that i did though, otherwise I might've missed a little spot and ended up having a gap or an excessively thick glitter coat. you can purchase this cool color on the Ninja Polish website!

Here's the bottom of the bottles, not sure why I posted them. Just for fun??

Untried Polish Challenge - Day 14 & 15 (Glitter/Creme)

I'm back! And I'll keep this post short because 1. I'm horribly late getting it up, 2. I don't really like these pictures (ha) and 3. I have one more post to get to for you guys. I had these manicures on my hands for a few days before I took the pictures so my cuticles  look pretty bad and there's some tip wear. I thought about re-doing them before I posted, but I was so busy with my internship as it was, that that didn't seem feasible. Sorry for the embarrassing pictures. Also, I took them about a week or more ago, gosh this is so delayed.

Oh yeah, I took these with my phone in my light box because I had left my camera at my parents house that day. They're also edited by instagram with whichever filter I thought gave me the closest to the true color. You see why I dislike them so much (wow I'm a negative Nancy in this post, lets stop that :)) I actually really liked this mani, looked a little pre-teen-ish, but it was fun. the lilac is OPI Do You Lilac It?, It's actually a little darker than the pictures, but really pretty and the application is great. Then I gradiented OPI Light of Emerald City, because I wanted to do a different kind of glitter.
I like it a lot!!

This design was really simple. The light pastel green is Butter London Bossy Boots, I taped them off with striping tape and painted on Zoya Josie, they both had a pretty smooth application, I just LOVE Butter London. And that's about it, haha.

Untried Polish Challenge - Day 13 (In Season)!

Hey, I've got another post for you already! Wow! I know I'm still behind everyone else and they're about finishing up, but I'll be there real soon. Just a couple posts to go! This day of the challenge called for a manicure that was in season. Summer makes me think of blue skies and sunshine, so those are the colors I reached for today.

Yay stripes! I actually just picked up this blue, partially because it has an awesome name and partially because of how pretty the color is; it's China Glaze Shower Together. Right?! I love finding random China Glaze gems. On top I painted top coat and then Milani 90I 4 Yellow Mark. A bright yellow texture polish. It was opaque in about a coat and dried really quickly. I added the flower sticker at the end for an extra summery touch with not more top coat. It's really so fun to sit and touch the texture! It's all I've been doing!

Want a new challenge to do? I've been loving this one! Try it out!

Untried Polish Challenge - Day 11 & 12 (Ugliest/Prettiest)!

Hey peoples! Don't have much time to go into detail, but here are my ugliest and prettiest posts for the challenge. Hope to be all caught up soon :).

Here's both!

Light Box

Oh Jeez, these Colors are....pretty bad. The green base is OPI Uh-Oh Roll Down the Window (Which honestly, the name speaks for itself). The stripe on the side is China Glaze Glitter Goblin, an awful bronzy-orange glitter I just had to add because, well, it's just that bad. There are some holographic glitters in it, but unfortunately they don't help to better the polish. Masha from Lost in Lacquer put it well when she describes it as "Halloween confetti Puke."

Now for the Prettiest ! :)

Light Box

This here might be my new favorite lacquer! I present Enchanted Polish Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. It's a long name, but I think it's a perfect fit!  Once again I was going to put another holo over and do a gradient or something of the sort after taking the swatch picture, but I just could bare covering up the gorgeousness of this. This holographic polish is a white/gold/cream multichrome, I would even say it has some pink and lilac undertones. It's quite heavenly and I'm going to have to restrain from wearing it ALL THE TIME! If you want to buy your own visit The Enchanted Polish website or Llarowe and see when they restock, but be warned; they go super fast!!

He The pretty bottle to this pretty polish!
