Watermelon!

MMmmmmm I love watermelon!! This is how this mani went down; Went to Reams Monday, found some colors I loved and brought them home. I was looking at those 3 colors and all I could think of was watermelon. So that night I did the base coats and fell asleep. Woke up, went to work Tuesday and then made my watermelon nails when I got home. Finally got around to taking pictures today. Sorry about the pics, again, haha. I tried not to chip them, the best I could. Invigorating story right.... Enjoy!

All three colors I used are Sally Hansen Insta-Dri; the reddish one is Sonic Boom, green is Lickety-Split Lime, and the black (which is actually a black with really cool purple shimmer) is Uptempo Plum.

I really like this mani, it reminds me of jolly-ranchers....mmmmm watermelon was always my favorite flavors. I hope you all like it!

3D Nails!!

Hey Everyone! Here are my fun 3D nails I did. At first I was going to do something else with different stones and such, but then it turned into this. I like it better!! If you haven't noticed from my two post; I LOVE FLOWERS! So, more to come ;). Sorry again about the messy cuticles. I tried to clean them, but I''m just no good at it. Enjoy all the many pictures! Different angles are fun!

Lots of fun pictures I hope you all enjoy!! I used ZOYA Pippa and a creamy striper Stripe Rite (I think)....

Here's a ZOYA Pippa swatch

And Here's a pic with the gradient before the flower and cleaning.

Welcome!

Hey everyone, and welcome to my new blog! I've been thinking about this for months and finally got to doing it! I made my nail art blog! I was painting my nails and I liked the design so much, I finally decided that it's time.

I'm a college undergrad working toward my BS. I dance and do karate, and with so much school work I don't have much time to be creative. Last winter my friend Jo reminded me how much I love painting my nails. Ever since I've been doing it more and more. So here is my first post for all of you, I hope you like it, and disclaimer; I always take nail pics too fast or too slow. I either get excited and and don't clean my cuticles well enough, haha, or forget for a day or two. Hope you enjoy my pictures anyway! Let me know what I can improve!

And visit my friend Jo's polish blog @ www.justaddpolish.com

Here's my fun summer sunflower freehand nail art!

I used Essie Bangle Jangle as the base, then a bunch of acrylic paints for the flowers, along with OPI DS Mystery, ZOYA Cheryl, and China Glaze Riveting as sparkle accents. Seche Vite on top.

I really like how they turned out! Thoughts?

Here are some more pics!

In this last one the first 3 fingers don't have top coat.

Thanks for visiting guys! Stay tuned!!

Oh and here are some Essie Bangle Jangle swatches
Sorry for all the pics and the long post I guess, I just don't know what angle I like ;)
